Day 8-9

2 great days of workouts.  This was my first Chest & Back workout and it was intense...got quickly fatigued after so many sets of push ups and pull ups.

Kristin had really good workouts but didn't see an increase in the number of push ups.  I'm sure she will next week.

The Ab Ripper was tough again but better than last week.

Plyometrics was awesome...we both had our heart rates at the high 140's and low 150's.  We're really starting to like the heart rate monitors....they really help maximize the intensity of the workout.  We're going to try and get our heart rates up earlier in the work out to get in the zone quicker.

Since it was Saturday we slept in and did our workout around 9:30 am.  A little tough with both kids but nice to sleep in.  I think we're going to move our rest day to Saturday as that will be better for everybody.

We decided to have a cheat day today for the second half of the day...McDonalds for lunch and pizza for dinner!  It was great when it went down but we both feel gross.  Back on the diet tomorrow!!!

  1. Cheat Day?! Where in book does it say anything about a cheat day?! I even went with the sweet potatoes instead of the regular potatoes!

Did the Plyometrics with the heart rate monitor for the first time and it was great to see where my heart rate was. I ranged around the same, peaking at 159. Took me till after the first break to really get in and stay in the zone.
